Its breathtaking aromas are fresh, not jammy, lifted by sharp, tart notes of blue and black berries. These flavors concentrate on the palate to evoke the true meaning of “Rutherford dust,” with cocoa powder-like tannins leading to a supple, round and lingering finish. While enjoyable now, this wine will continue to develop and age well with proper cellaring through 2050.
